Emily Hughes and I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds on behalf of Children's and Women's Hospital to support the Alabama Kidney Foundation's 2024 Mobile Kidney Walk & Celebration! The Alabama Kidney Foundation is the only state-based organization in Alabama serving kidney patients in need through financial assistance, education and support services. The annual Mobile Kidney Walk & Celebration provides the funding needed for kidney patients to receive assistance with high utility bills, prescription medication, handicap equipment and transportation to and from life-saving dialysis treatments - to name a few.
