I believe the mission of the Alabama Kidney Foundation, I trust in their dedication to Alabama’s kidney patients in need, and I support the Foundation as a loyal supporter & AKF Kidney Walk Team Captain of AKF Walk Team – Team Awesome and volunteerism to ensure patients receive the assistance they truly need!

Some truths about the Alabama Kidney Foundation and the needs of our local patients:

•    Alabama ranks number one per capita in the nation for kidney failure

•    Over 400,000 Alabamians are currently living with kidney disease

·      Over 14,000 Alabamians require multiple weekly dialysis treatments to survive

•   The Alabama Kidney Foundation is state-based – your donation stays local

•    The AKF is the ONLY Alabama resource for financial & assistance for kidney patients
