Welcome to our team!  

UAB's kidney transplantation program began in 1968, and we have been at the forefront of the field ever since. We average more than 300 transplants per year and have worked to achieve outstanding outcomes, thanks in part to our active clinical and research efforts.

As one of the top kidney transplant centers, our goal is to continue these research efforts in order to reach more patients and help them get a second chance at life through a kidney transplant.  With that increase in patients comes the need for patient support.  This is where the Alabama Kidney Foundation steps in.  

Our team goal is to raise $2500 to help out with all of the support that AKF provides to patients.  Let's do this CTI!
